มะลิหอมน้อมวางข้างข้างตัก
กรุ่นกลิ่น "รัก" บริสุทธิ์ผุดผ่องใส
แทนทุกคำทุกถ้อยร้อยจากใจ
เป็นมาลัย "กราบแม่" พร้อมน้อมบูชา

วันแม่ เป็นวันที่สำคัญในหลายประเทศทั่วโลกจัดขึ้นเพื่อให้เกียรติแม่และความเป็นแม่ในประเทศไทยวันแม่แห่งชาติตรงกับวันที่ 12 สิงหาคมของทุกปี ซึ่งตรงกับวันพระราชสมภพของสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์

สัญลักษณ์ที่ใช้ในวันแม่คือ ดอกมะลิ ซึ่งมีสีขาวบริสุทธิ์ ส่งกลิ่นหอมไปไกลและหอมได้นาน

อีกทั้งยังออกดอกได้ตลอดทั้งปี เปรียบได้กับความรักอันบริสุทธิ์ของแม่ที่มีต่อลูกไม่มีวันเสื่อมคลาย

Symbols used on Mother's Day is jasmine , which is pure white. 

Fragrant and aromatic far longer. It blooms throughout the year . 

Compared with the pure love of a mother whose children never 

diminished.
